TYSON EVANS
I'm Tyson Evans. I am a rising senior at the University of Montevallo majoring in Mass Communication with a concentration in Broadcast Production. I am also a filmmaking minor with Student Filmmaking honors under my belt, which includes a Sidewalk Film Festival selection and an invitation to the Broadcast Education Association. I am scheduled to graduate in Spring 2024.
I specialize in directing, producing, and writing. I have interned as a director for the Sinclair Broadcasting Group, ABC 33/40 in Hoover, AL. At the University of Montevallo, I serve as the main director for many of our live events such as our school newscast our school sports newscast, and our sports broadcast. The more notable events I have worked on include, a professional recording for the 104th Installment of the longest-running college tradition in North America, the University of Montevallo's College Night, the 2022 Gulf South Cross-Country Championships, and the most recent 2023 World Fire Firing Event.
